I was going to college at Weber State University and I was sitting at a table at Dees in Ogden, Utah with some girlfriends and a random boy,who was actually a man if I remember correctly and I had just bought a book called "Introducing Buddhism". Although I was quite firm in my current religion and beliefs, I was, you could say, thirsty for knowledge. I wanted to know everything about everything. It was actually in this mindset and year that I met my now husband. He was an artist and he intrigued me. He still does but for some reason, as of late, I'd never let him know it. It's so easy to be nasty.... it use to be so easy to be sweet.
Anyways, we were sitting at this table discussing various topics when I came up with the pen name Rebecca Law. It was at that moment when I decided that if I were to ever become an author of anything or a seamstress, I would be known as Rebecca Law. That name, Rebecca, has proven to be a very special name to me and I am now excited to be using it while writing this blog, even though I have already used it as a seamstress(a very inside joke)..and I promise to be a better wife.
